DIG These Toys

Angel Tree trailer wrapDIG is proud to announce its collaboration with US96.3 Country radio station and Total Transportation in the “Stuff the Semi” Salvation Army Christmas Toy Drive.

Each year the Angel Tree Project provides information at various locations in Central Mississippi where shoppers can “Adopt an Angel” by purchasing toys and clothing for children for Christmas. When US96.3 Country DJ Scott Steele learned that in 2009 the number of children in Mississippi needing Christmas toys increased from an average of 4,000 to over 8,000, he determined that it would take a semi to hold all those toys. Thus, “Stuff the Semi” was born!

Total Transportation donated the 18-wheeler trailer and driver and DIG donated the design – printed and wrapped the trailer with a colorful Christmas toy theme that includes a large teddy bear, toy soldiers, and a toy car to draw attention to the trailer.

The trailer is being taken to a different retail location every day for three weeks leading up to Christmas, in hope that the community will “adopt an angel” on site, shop for the angel, then drop off the donation to “Stuff the Semi” full of toys for the Salvation Army Christmas Toy Drive.

DIG encourages everyone to watch for the trailer in their area and feel free to contribute!
